Dr Murray Taverner

 

MBBS, FRCA, FANZCA, GDPM, FFPMANZCA, FIPP

 

Dr Taverner is a highly qualified Australian anaesthetist and pain medicine specialist and

researcher with over 25 years experience in anaesthesia, acute and chronic pain management.

 

He is a visiting pain medicine specialist at Frankston Hospital and at numerous private

hospitals. He is the medical director of Frankston Pain Management.

 

He is lead author of a number of peer reviewed, published original research projects. He has

trained, lectured and demonstrated a range of interventional and holistic pain management

techniques both in Australia and overseas.

 

He is a caring, compassionate physician who has lived and worked on the Mornington

Peninsula most of his life. He is married and has two sons. His interests are skiing, walking

and good food.

 

Dr Taverner consults weekly on Monday and Thursday 9.30am-4pm and Friday 1-4pm.
